Portland Maine’s Bayside area is adjacent to the city’s
downtown district. The Bayside neighborhood is sometimes divided into two
smaller areas, East and West Bayside. Both offer a mix of residential
properties – from single family homes to multi-units and condos. For a stylish on-peninsula dwelling, the Bayside neighborhood is an excellent location in Portland. Bordering Back Bay, West Bayside faces Back Cove Park with paths for walking and bicycling. East Bayside also has trail access to the Back Cove and Bayside trails, and is close to the Eastern Promenade Park in Portland’s East End. Both are within walking distance to all downtown hotspots.
