Westbrook Maine Residential Real Estate Market: Q1 2013

The Westbrook Maine residential real estate market saw 45 transactions take place in Q1 2013, compared with 38 a year prior in 2012. Median pricing in Q1 2013 clocked in at 164 which the same median price we saw in Q1 2012. The average days on the market for homes sold in Westbrook were 61, which is down drastically from last year when the average DOM was 108.

Rockland Maine Real Estate Market Report for 2013

The Rockland real estate markets saw a total of 15 combined transactions occurred in Q1 2013, compared the a year prior when only 8 homes had been sold, reflecting an 88% increase.  Pricing continues to remain about the same going from 118K in Q1 2012 to 110 in Q1 2013.

Q1 Report on Bath Maine Real Estate

In Q1 2013, real estate in Bath Maine had 18 homes sold at a median price of 121K, representing a decrease of 25% from the year prior when 24 homes had been sold. During Q1 2012, the median home price was 117K which has grown 3% in Q1 2013.
Get Back on Your Bike is a yearly event in Bath that allows residents and visitors to “rediscover the health, economic, environmental, and psychological benefits of cycling. The workshop is to appeal those know about bike riding but may not have hopped on in years. Come on down May 9 @ 6-7:30pm.

Freeport ME Housing Report for 1st Quarter 2012

30 sales were made in the Freeport Maine residential real estate market during the 1st quarter of the 2012 year. This quarter’s sales volume was 13% lower compared to the 1st quarter of last year, and 38% lower than the last quarter of 2011. The median price of Freeport ME homes was 300K, which was 58% higher than during the same timeframe in 2011. The average number of days on the market for Homes for Salein Freeport Maine was 134 – up both year over year and compared to the previous quarter.

Boothbay ME Housing Report for March 2012

During Feb 2012, 1 home was sold in Boothbay Maine. The median price point for a home in Boothbay was 350K, up from the yearly average of 221K in 2011. With only one home sold, it is difficult to draw conclusions about Boothbay Maine real estate trends. Such as it is, the town of Boothbay begins March with 87 homes for sale.

South Portland March 2012 Market Update


A total of 16 sales were made in South Portland ME residential real estate during in February. This was a 60% year over year rise in sales volume, and a 23% increase compared to one the previous month. Homes and condos in South Portland that were sold in February were on the market for an average of 67 days, down 50% month over month.

Feb. 2012 Phippsburg ME Housing Update


In the residential housing market of Phippsburg Maine, just 2 homes sold during the month of January 2012. This was a 100% increase in inventory sold, both month over month and year over year. The average number of days on the market for homes in Phippsburg sold in January was 104 – down 57% from last month. The median price point for Phippsburg homes was 378K, which was up 10% compared to the same time frame in the 2011 year.

The small town of Phippsburg has a limited number of homes on the market at any given time. Inventory has been up, with 52 homes for sale as of the beginning of February.
