Portland Real Estate Report 2010

For the month ending March 2010 Portland saw 59 transactions occur at a median price of 196K. This contrasts with 37 transactions occurring at a median price point of 192K in March 2010 and 42 homes selling at 210K in February 2010. Portland, the anchor of the regional real estate marketplace, continues to grow and remain very strong with healthy activity on all fronts.

Yarmouth ME March 2010 Real Estate report

For the month ending March 2010 the residential real estate markets of Yarmouth Maine saw 7 homes sell compared with 5 in February and only 2 in March of the previous year. Like other regions housing prices appear to have stabilized and volume continues to increase. Currently inventory homes on the market in Yarmouth rests at 70, up just a few from the month prior. Lower interest rates and the tax credit deadline continue to be major driving forces in the marketplace.

Falmouth Maine March 2010 Housing Report

In Falmouth ME in the month of March 2010 13 residential properties sold at a median sales price of 290K after sitting on the market for 85 days. This represents a volume increase of 63% compared with March 2009. The median price point was down 10% year over year. The current inventory of available homes for sale in Falmouth sits at 139.
