For the month ending December 2009 the Bath Maine real estate housing market saw 12 single family and condo transactions occur at a combined median price of 137K with each home sitting on the market for a median days on market of 68. This represents a 200% increase in volume from December 2008 when only 4 homes sold at a median price of 116K. Overall Bath residential real estate had a strong 4th quarter of 2009.

The Falmouth Maine real estate markets saw a whopping 15 transactions take place at a median price point of 370K after sitting on the market for a median days on market of 58 compared with 9 homes selling at a median price of 306K after sitting on the market for 106 days in December 2008. This desirable northern suburb has posted strong results recently as the overall Portland Maine markets have improved
